Shredded BBQ Chicken Sliders

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone is staying safe with Hurricane Hilary. I am fairly certain we heard thunder last night but we are seeing blue skies today :)

Earlier this week I made these Shredded BBQ Chicken Sliders. They were SO easy to make. The original recipe can be found from I Am Homesteader HERE but we made ours a little bit different. In the original recipe, you make a garlic butter beforehand, and I just combined everything into a crockpot.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup unsalted butter
2 tbsp garlic powder
2 tsp The Social Distancer by Pinch Spice Market
3 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup No Sugar Added, Lakanto BBQ Sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp onion powder
1 package Hawaiian rolls

Directions:
In a large crockpot, add chicken breasts to the bottom. Cover with garlic powder and unsalted butter (cut into pieces).

Add the Social Distancer, Paprika, and Worcestershire.

Top with bbq sauce, olive oil, and onion powder. I also added some cracked black pepper. Set on high for 4 hours.

After 3.5 hours, see if you can shred the chicken. If so, shred and cook for another 30 minutes. Add to toasted, or cold, Hawaiian rolls or eat as-is. Enjoy!
