Baked Ground Beef Stroganoff Casserole

Image
A few weeks ago I made this Baked Stroganoff Casserole. Now I have to preface this by saying that I am not a huge fan of Stroganoff but I've noticed that everything tastes better when baked. The original recipe was found HERE . We changed a few things up to our liking. The full recipe is below. If you try this recipe and like it, please let me know! :)                                     Ingredients: 8oz egg noodles 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 lb ground beef Salt, pepper to taste Onion powder, to taste Garlic powder, to taste 3 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons flour 2 1/2 cups beef broth 3/4 cup sour cream 1 tablespoon mustard 1 + 3/4 cups shredded cheese (plus more if you would like) Directions: Cook the egg noodles for one minute less than instructed on the package. Drain and set aside. Heat the oil over medium heat on the stove. Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper and cook all the way through. Remove the beef and set aside and leave the grease in the pan.

Marinated Chicken and Potatoes in the Cast-Iron Skillet

Image
If you have one day to prepare and marinade the chicken, I would strongly recommend this recipe by Eat Well 101 . We made ours a little bit different but overall, it was tasty. Everything tastes better in a cast iron skillet though, doesn't it? Also, I loved that I didn't feel gross after I ate because it was a fairly healthy meal. It took about 30 minutes for me to make once the chicken was done marinading. I let the chicken marinade for about 24 hours. Ingredients for the marinade: 1 1/2 pound chicken breast (boneless, skinless) cut into strips 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/4 cup soy sauce 1 tablespoon hot sauce (we also balanced out the heat with some Mild packets from Taco Bell) Pepper Directions for the marinade: Using a cutting board, cut the chicken breast into strips. Place in a large bag. Add all ingredients into the bag. Let sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Ingredients for the potatoes: 6 baby potatoes, diced 1 tablespoon olive oil 3 tablespoons but

Crockpot Pizza Bake with Lots of Cheese

Image
I feel like I am so behind with the blog posts and my days are just going past me like crazy. A few nights ago we made this Crockpot Pizza Bake. Although the Original Recipe HERE called for rigatoni, penne, or ziti pasta, we used shells and you can really use any pasta. As always, we added extra cheese. Although it took awhile to prepare, once it was in the crockpot, it was super easy from there. Ingredients: 8oz box of shells (or any short pasta) 1 pound italian sausage, ground 1/2 pound ground beef 8oz package of sliced pepperoni onion powder, to taste 48oz pizza sauce 2 teaspoons italian seasoning garlic powder, to taste 16oz shredded mozzarella cheese Directions: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook for 7 minutes. Drain and set aside. While the pasta is boiling, cook the italian sausage and ground beef together in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. While that is cooking, layer the pepperoni slices between a couple paper towe

Crockpot Chicken and Dumplings

Image
Have you ever had Chicken and Dumplings? Am I the only one that didn't really know what it was until I watched a video for it and made it? Of course I have heard of them but didn't know what they actually consisted of. This recipe was super easy and it was made in the crockpot which made it even easier! The original recipe can be found HERE . Our recipe is below. Ingredients: Onion powder 1 can (10.5oz) cream of chicken soup Black pepper to taste 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 2 cups chicken broth 1 can (8 pieces) refrigerated biscuits Directions: Add chicken to crockpot. Top with onion powder. In a bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup and black pepper. Spread over chicken breasts and top with chicken broth. Cook on high for 4 hours. Roll each biscuit thin and flat, cut into four strips per biscuit. Add biscuit strips on top of the chicken and let sit for one more hour. When you are about to serve, remove and slightly shred chicken. Add back into slow coo

Buffalo Shredded Chicken Ranch Bombs

Image
Oh.My.Gosh. I swear the recipes keep getting better and better. These were SO good. Words cannot describe. We had them for dinner tonight with the Ranch drizzle on top. The original recipe was from Delish and can be found HERE . We made this recipe our own and changed a few things. Our recipe is below. Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups shredded chicken 3 Taco Bell Hot Sauce packets 4 tsp Ranch Seasoning Mix (plus some when you cook the chicken. I put our chicken in the crockpot with ranch seasoning mix and beef broth for 2.5 hours before making this so I could shred it) 5 tablespoons melted butter 1 tube biscuit dough Mozzarella cheese Basil (seasoning) Ranch dressing (for drizzling at the end) Directions: Preheat oven to 375 and spray a baking sheet. In a large bowl combine the chicken, hot sauce, ranch seasoning mix, and melted butter. Flatten each biscuit, place chicken mixture in the middle followed by mozzarella cheese. We also used some cheddar cheese. Pinch and seal and

Juicy Lucy Hamburgers with Cheese in the Middle

Image
First of all, it's been awhile since I have done a blog post. Life has been so busy, especially this past week. I wanted to write about the Juicy Lucy that we made last week. I kept calling it Lucy Goosey (maybe from nursery rhymes) and I do have to say my boyfriend makes them way better than I do. This recipe was a good one still though! HERE is the original recipe. Ingredients: 1 1/2 pounds ground beef 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder Black powder to taste 4 slices American Cheese Hamburger Buns Directions: Combine beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and pepper in a bowl. Form 8 thin patties (a little larger than a cheese slice). Cut each slice of Cheese into 4 equal pieces and stack them. Sandwich one stack of cheese between 2 ground beef patties. Pinch the edges together and repeat with all. Preheat oven to medium heat and spray. Cook burgers about 8 minutes on each side. Serve on hamburger buns.

Mississippi Mud Potatoes

Image
Have you ever heard of Mississippi Mud Potatoes? I hadn't until Kevin sent me THIS RECIPE last week. All you really need to know is 3 ingredients - potatoes, cheese, and bacon. AKA all of the best food and carbs. Those are the most important ingredients. This recipe was super easy to make. The original recipe called for green onions. It also was made 8 servings. We made ours for three people and no green onions. Super good! And filled us up. Ingredients: 4 cups potatoes, diced finely 16oz cheddar cheese, shredded 1 cup mayonnaise 1 package bacon, cooked and torn into pieces Directions: In a large bowl, mix potatoes, cheese, and bacon. Stir in mayonnaise (don't worry, you won't taste it!). Bake at 325 for 45 minutes. Top with additional cheese if desired.

The BEST Four Cheese Macaroni with Bacon in the Air Fryer

Image
I have to mention a few things about this recipe. First of all, thank you SO MUCH to my Nana who gave me her Air Fryer. This was the first recipe I made with it and oh my GOSH, literally the best Macaroni and Cheese I have EVER had [no joke]. Second, the Air Fryer came with some recipe cards and I couldn't find the recipe online. This was an Emeril Lagasse Air Fryer and has a recipe card with his name on it. I did use different types of cheese than what was listed but our version is below. I also added what the original version covered so you know. Also, like always, bacon makes everything better so we replaced the bread crumbs with bacon but added them after it was cooked all the way. Ingredients: 3 tablespoons butter 3 tablespoons flour 1 1/2 cup half and half salt and pepper, to taste 8oz Gruyere cheese (his recipe calls for 2oz of Gruyere and 8oz of good-quality Parmesan cheese) 2oz Mozzarella cheese 2oz Cheddar cheese 2oz Parmesan cheese (He also

Mozzarella-Stuffed Meatballs in the Crockpot

Image
Last night we made an easy (yet rather messy) recipe from Tasty . I initially found the video on Facebook and took screenshots of the whole recipe. To make it easier, you can find their full recipe HERE . We had these with garlic bread on the side and they turned out very Tasty (no pun intended). If you make these, please comment below and let me know if you enjoyed them as much as we did! We eliminated a few things from their recipe and made it our own below. Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef 2 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper 1 cup bread crumbs 1/4 cup parmesan 2 eggs 1/2 cup whole milk basil, to taste one bottle marinara sauce big mozzarella cheese ball OR mini mozzarella cheese balls Directions: Layer crockpot with marinara sauce at the bottom (half). Mix all meatball ingredients together in a bowl and form into balls using your hands. I purchased a big ball of mozzarella cheese and cut them into pieces. I stuck one piece inside each meatball, pressing the meat
