Crockpot Chicken Pot Pie

Before I share this recipe, I have a really funny and cute story that I have to share. I told Jace, my 7-year old stepson, that I was making Chicken Pot Pie for dinner. The first thing he asked was, "Like the red rice and beans? And chicken wings?" He totally thought I said "Popeyes"! Now I can't say that this recipe beats Popeyes but it is super good! We made some major changes to this recipe but you can click on the original recipe HERE . Below is ours! The Perfect Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe

Image
A few nights ago my boyfriend made the most AMAZING Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice. It wasn't too salty and I actually don't like shrimp but they were the jumbo pieces so I could easily take them out without tasting the shrimp flavor. The recipe we based ours off of is HERE but we made our own below. Ingredients: 14 jumbo shrimp 2 chicken breasts 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt freshly ground pepper extra virgin olive oil 3 eggs, beaten 4 cups rice 1/2 of a bag of frozen peas and carrots 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 teaspoon sesame oil Directions: Cook chicken until done. In a separate pan, toss shrimp in olive oil and sear shrimp on both sides (or until orange). Cook eggs separately and scramble. Put rice in separate pan and add everything in pan (shrimp, chicken, vegetables, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, and eggs). Heat everything until sizzling hot and add more soy sauce to taste. Season to taste. Enjoy! Did you like this recipe? Let me

How to Save Money on Christmas - Deals, Savings, Specials, Cheap Gifts

Image
The best way to save money during Christmas is to not spend money. Unfortunately, that is inevitable. So if you have to spend money, why not spend as little as possible? This blog was not created on how to get items for free, but where to shop for deals and discounts. This blog was mainly created because I only have a part-time job living in California and my goal has been to find ways to save money over Christmas. I look for deals year-round but below is a list of what I have purchased or what I recommend for Christmas. Keep in mind that most deals go fast just because they are either temporary deals or Black Friday specials. The first one that I'm about to talk about is an example of that. Jace has been talking about a scooter for the past few months. Well, I finally found one for a great deal! On Instagram, I follow @ilikedeals_net and they shared a scooter on Amazon for $18 which is a price drop from $30! I purchased it two days ago and went on today and it is unavailable so
