Dream Log 2022 and 2023 - Journal About Dreams - My real life dreams

Does anyone keep track of their dreams? Have a dream journal or a dream notebook? This blog is what I use for my dreams. I have been keeping track of my dreams since 2015. I remember a lot of them, I have no idea what they mean, but they are fun to look back on.  Below is a list of the past few years worth of dreams as well as the dreams I have had in 2021: Dreams 2015-2018 Dreams 2019 Dreams 2020 Dreams 2021 Below are my 2022 dreams. Enjoy! January 2022:  I typically write my dreams down by day but I've had so many and forgot to write the dates so here are some that I remember in January.  I had a dream that my fiance was actually dating someone from another country - it was more like a 90-day fiance situation. She came over to visit but didn't really speak English so of course he was spending time with me and talking to me. We went to this restaurant with another person and her and we looked behind us and the girl was gone. She didn't have a phone so we just waited there.

Air Fryer Steak Bites

Image
If I were to pick a favorite meat, it would be tri-tip/steak for sure. And if I could choose any way to make my steak, it would definitely be in the Air Fryer. If you don't have an Air Fryer, you are missing out. My Nana gave me the one that we use a few years ago and we use it almost every day.  A few days ago I made the Air Fryer Steak Bites that can be found from Food, Folks and Fun HERE . I used top sirloin steak for this specific recipe. I used .86pound instead of 1.5pound and the steak was a little bit saltier. If you use less than 1.5 pounds, I would lower the amount of seasonings you put in. Just adjust to your taste.  Ingredients: .86 pounds sirloin steak (or preferably 1.5pound), cut into bite-size pieces 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp Montreal steak seasoning 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp Italian Seasoning Directions: Preheat the air fryer setting it to 400 degrees. Cut the sirloin steak into bite size pieces. In a bowl, toss the steak pieces

Easy Crockpot Baked Potato Soup

Image
I love potato soup, and pretty much anything that goes in the crockpot, because both Kevin and I work full-time and Jace is at school and an after school program until 5 or so. Because I work from home, crockpot recipes are super easy and convenient.  I have made baked potato soup recipes before and, in fact, my first food blog ever was a potato soup recipe and, to this day, is my most read food blog post. The last two I have made had required me to put the potatoes in a blender and both turned it more into a runny soup. I have to say though, even though it was an actual soup without chunky potatoes, it was really creamy and full of flavor. You can blend the potatoes to make them as creamy as you would like! This recipe was made by Food Folks and Fun and can be found HERE .  You can find my previous posts here: Easy Potato Soup in the Crockpot Easy Potato Soup in the Slow Cooker Crockpot Potato Soup Recipe Ingredients: 1 tbsp onion powder 7-8 medium potatoes, diced into cubes 12oz chic

Ground Beef Lettuce Wraps - Lower Protein

Image
I am a huge fan of lettuce wraps but what makes them better? When they are from Davita AKA a healthier version and they were just as amazing. I literally chowed these down and wiped my plate clean. I would definitely make these again. We did not use cucumber, we used just a few slices of red pepper, and garlic powder instead of garlic cloves. Enjoy our version below! Ingredients: 1 tbsp garlic powder A few slices of a red bell pepper, chopped into small pieces 1 pound ground beef 1 tbsp sherry cooking wine 1 tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce 2 tsp red chili sauce 2 tsp brown sugar 1 tsp ground ginger 1 tsp sesame oil 1 cup cooked white rice Iceberg lettuce leaves Directions: In a bowl, mix the ground beef, garlic powder, sherry, soy sauce, red chili sauce, brown sugar and ginger.  Spray a skillet with PAM or cooking spray and set over medium heat. Add the beef to the skillet and break apart with a wooden spoon until cooked through - about 5-7 minutes.  Stir in sesame oil and keep warm. Ma

Crispy Honey Sesame Chicken recipe

Image
I have a few great recipes for you guys coming up and I'm so excited to share them. These past two weeks Kevin and I did a competition of who can lose the most weight. I think he has lost four pounds and I've gained one. I was at my lowest weight in awhile a few days ago but tomorrow is the day when it counts. Also, since work has been super busy this week, we had a cheat day today of pizza so I'm sure that won't help. Earlier this week though we had a few really good meals including this Crispy Honey Sesame Chicken recipe.  This recipe for chicken reminded me a lot of the Korean Fried Chicken that I made the other night. Both are fried and have some of the same ingredients. The Crispy Honey Sesame Chicken recipe was taken from HERE and our version is below. Ingredients for the Chicken: 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch cubes 2 eggs beaten 1/2 cup flour 1/4 cup cornstarch 10oz canola oil for frying Ingredients for the Sauce: 1/3 cup honey 1/4

Korean Fried Chicken

Tonight we decided to try out Korean Fried Chicken - or in this video here - Spicy Sweet Fried Chicken. Now fried chicken isn't healthy but we did decide to replace some of the ingredients with better-for-you ingredients. Instead of salt and garlic, we used wine smoked garlic by Salt Smith . For the sauce we used a no sugar added ketchup, light corn syrup and monkfruit instead of sugar.  Ingredients for the chicken: 5 boneless skinless chicken thighs 1 tsp wine smoked garlic by Salt Smith Some black pepper 1 egg 1 cup potato starch  25oz canola oil Directions for Chicken: Cut the fat off the chicken thighs. Place in a bowl and add the wine smoked garlic, black pepper, egg, potato starch and water. Once mixed, it should not be thick enough where you can pull up on the chicken and pulls the whole entire bowl up. If that's the case, add more water. Mix with your hands.  Add the 25oz canola oil in a frying pan on high heat. Wait about five minutes, place a tiny bit of water on the
