How to Save Money on Christmas - Deals, Savings, Specials, Cheap Gifts

The best way to save money during Christmas is to not spend money. Unfortunately, that is inevitable. So if you have to spend money, why not spend as little as possible? This blog was not created on how to get items for free, but where to shop for deals and discounts. This blog was mainly created because I only have a part-time job living in California and my goal has been to find ways to save money over Christmas. I look for deals year-round but below is a list of what I have purchased or what I recommend for Christmas. Keep in mind that most deals go fast just because they are either temporary deals or Black Friday specials. The first one that I'm about to talk about is an example of that.

Jace has been talking about a scooter for the past few months. Well, I finally found one for a great deal! On Instagram, I follow @ilikedeals_net and they shared a scooter on Amazon for $18 which is a price drop from $30! I purchased it two days ago and went on today and it is unavailable so you do have to hop on these deals QUICK! If you add @ilikedeals_net on Instagram, they are constantly posting deals! Click HERE to see if the Scooter is available. You can also click HERE to visit the website for ongoing deals.

**As of November 22, 2018, the scooter IS available for $24.42. It shows that the original price was $44.99

Using the same website, I also purchased Skip Bo Junior for half off ($3.76) which you can find HERE and an Ocean Lego set HERE for $18.99 compared to $29.99. Total for both = $24.00

I also purchased three shirts for Jace through Old Navy and Gap which you can click HERE to view their items and be sure to sign up for their emails because they always offer me 40-50% off!

For my nieces and nephew, I have purchased a lot of their gifts through the Facebook page Sweet Dollar Deals Boutique. They hold auctions every once in awhile and auction off cute clothes, ornaments, homemade items, headbands, bows, pajamas, and more! I don't always win the auctions but when I do, I just have an invoice sent to me and the items are sent in a reasonable time frame. I've never had an issue with shipping, paying, or ordering. You can click HERE for their Christmas auction.

Here are the four items that I put bids in for:

For Presley

For Rosalyn

For Presley

For Jace

Target is currently offering kids clothes on clearance. I purchased Jace a Pokemon long sleeve shirt for $9.99, a Pokemon short sleeve shirt for $8.99, Presley two Wonder Woman shirts for $8.99, and Emerson three DC shirts for $12.99. Click HERE for the Target Clearance section. RedCard also offered me free shipping on this order.

Total spent at Target (including shipping and taxes) = $41.00 for seven shirts

If you are looking for a fun activity set or gift for boys or girls, my cousin loves the Scratch Paper on Amazon. It includes 36 big sheets (18 rainbow sheets, 9 gold, and 9 holographic silver), four stylus scratchers and stencils. Click HERE to buy for only $14.98 through PRIME.

If you have a child who is into circuits or projects, I found this link HERE for a circuit project on Amazon through an affiliate link. This item is on sale for $20.99 compared to $34.99.

If you want to buy a game for your child, Monopoly Junior is perfect! You can purchase it through Target or Walmart for $7.99 or $8.09 HERE

I don't think I have ever shopped at Burlington but I just received an email from them about deals on toys and gifts and ended up purchasing the following:

Gymboree is currently offering 50-75% off on their website. I purchased Presley this "Always Full of Wonder" top for only $8.00 HERE. Originally this top was $19.50. I also received FREE shipping! Total paid - $8.62

I follow a page on Facebook called Sales-a-Holic and they offer amazing deals as they are an Amazon affiliate. I just purchased Falcon (1.5 year old nephew) nine trucks for $5.99 (compared to $9.99) by clicking HERE and using code 401AGQL2.

If you have a girl who loves pink and playhouses, Walmart has the Little Tikes Princess Cottage Playhouse for only $79.98 (originally $129.99). Click HERE for full details.

**I haven't purchased anything from them. If you have, please let me know how your experience went!

If you are looking for something for the man in your life, I purchased a 107-piece tool set for my boyfriend for $78 (originally $208!)! You want to jump on this deal HERE before it's gone!

I also purchased my boyfriend a single-serve Coffee maker on Amazon HERE for $40.99 compared to $69.99. Once again, this is a deal you want to jump on because I'm not sure when this will end! I added a 4-year warranty for only $6.95 more!

I saw this PS4 Remote Charging Station on Amazon for only $12.99 and it holds two controllers. Click HERE to purchase. I used code 8REOIR89 and got it for $9.09.

If you are looking for a Unisex Reebok sweater/top, I have the one for you! I bought this in a size Small for me and XL for boyfriend. It's normally $20+$5 shipping but if you use code BF18, you can get it for 50% off. I paid $15.71 for each one. Plus, we're matching :) Click HERE for the direct link.

My boyfriend doesn't have a lot of sweats or track pants so I thought these Adidas pants would be perfect for him. You can click HERE to purchase. Use code ADIFAM and get them for $12.60 plus tax. I think they only had L, XL, and 2XL.

If you like clothes but don't want to spend a lot, I highly recommend browsing Poshmark. I have a lot of clothes that I sell on there (and I have purchased on there before) and I currently have Men's, Women's, and Kid's items. Click HERE to check out my inventory.

For the woman in your life, this Women's Cruiser Bike in Blue is only $69 at Walmart (Originally $119). Click HERE to purchase.

If there is a lady in your life that enjoys lipstick (like most women!), I sell Lipsense! Feel free to reach out to me HERE and I can send you a Beauty Book or let you know what color options are available.
