Air Fryer Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Skewers

This Bacon Wrapped Chicken Skewer recipe was super easy to make and really, really, really good. The bacon was crispy and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I will definitely be making these again. I don't use salt in recipes so I did eliminate salt. The original recipe can be found HERE

Ingredients:
1 pound chicken breast, boneless & skinless
Pepper, to taste
6 slides of bacon

Ingredients for BBQ sauce:
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried thyme

Directions:
Wash and pat dry the chicken breast. Cut into cubes and season with pepper. Cut the skewers so they fit in the air fryer (we cut ours in half). Place the chicken cubes along the skewers (I was able to fit 4-5 on one skewer).

With the bacon, you can cut it in pieces and add to skewers or you can do what I did and just used one piece of bacon and just thread it throughout.

In a medium bowl, combine the oil, BBQ sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and thyme. Mix together until combined.

Brush the skewers with BBQ marinade (save some if possible) on all sides and preheat the Air Fryer for 350 degrees. Grease the air fryer basket. Place the skewers in the basket.

Air fry for 6 minutes, flip and brush the other side with the remainder marinade and air fry for 6 more minutes. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
