Air Fryer Egg Rolls

If you haven't tried homemade egg rolls in the Air Fryer, you are missing out. These were so good and we made them as a side with chow mein. They took a little time to prepare but the Air Fryer does wonders when it comes to making delicious food. This recipe was originally from Sustainable Cooks HERE

Ingredients:
Egg roll wrappers
3 cups cabbage
1/4 cup shredded carrots
1 1/2 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp reduced sodium soy sauce
1/4 tsp pepper
Olive oil

Directions:
On the stove, on medium, add the sesame oil, ginger, garlic, cabbage, pepper and shredded carrot to a large frying pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the cabbage is soft. Add the soy sauce, stir and remove from heat.

Take out an egg roll wrapper and using your finger, place olive oil on all four sides. With one of the corners towards you, place the cabbage mixture in the roll, taking up less than half of the entire wrapper. Move the corner that is towards you, up and the two side corners in. Use more olive oil to keep the wrapper down and connected to one another. Roll until you get to the end of the wrapper. Bring the top corner down and seal it using more olive oil. Do this for all of the egg rolls.

Spray the basket of your air fryer with PAM or cooking spray. Place the egg rolls in the basket and bake at 360 degrees for 7 minutes. Flip and bake for 2 more minutes.

Serve with sauce, as an appetizer, or with a meal. Enjoy!
