The BEST Honey Soy Air Fryer Sticky Chicken Wings

I have no words to describe how AMAZING these Chicken Wings were. When you look at the photos, they taste better than they look. I combined a dry rub recipe with a sauce recipe and made them in the Air Fryer. Without further ado....

The first thing you want to do is the dry rub. The original dry rub recipe was from AllRecipes HERE. We modified below since we didn't have all of the ingredients.

Ingredients:
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp chili powder (the original recipe called for paprika but we did not have any)
1/2 tbsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp ground mustard
1/2 tsp pepper
8-10 chicken wings/drumsticks

Directions:
Whisk together brown sugar, chili powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard and pepper. Rub on the chicken wings and get them fully coated. Arrange the chicken wings in the basket of the air fryer, standing up and leaning against each other. Air fry on 350 degrees for 32 minutes.

While they are air frying, make the sauce for the wings. The original sauce recipe can be found HERE

Ingredients:
1/2 cup honey
4 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/3 cup water
1 tsp corn starch

Directions:
Combine all ingredients on the stove in a saucepan on high heat. Set to boil and once it's boiling, let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Turn off the heat and move the saucepan off the burner.

Once the chicken is done out of the air fryer, take it one by one and roll it in the sauce and place on a plate. Eat over rice or serve with Ranch dressing.
