homemade french fries

My 11 year old LOVES to cook. He puts on his apron, acts like he is Guy Fieri and adds his touch and flavor to every meal. A few nights ago he requested homemade hamburgers and french fries and I decided to let him take the wheel. Besides helping him with dividing the patties and flipping them and cutting the potatoes, he did almost everything else and I was super impressed. The homemade french fries recipe was from Well Plated and can be found HERE

Ingredients:
olive oil
5 potatoes, sliced into wide strips
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp dill weed
1 tsp onion powder
pepper

Directions:
Spray a baking sheet with PAM or cooking spray. Scrub and slice the potatoes into wide sticks. Place them on the baking sheet and pour olive oil on top.

Add the seasonings and mix using your hands. Bake for 20 minutes, flip and bake for 10 more minutes. Serve with burgers, ketchup, or BBQ sauce!
