Quick and Easy Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Recipe

Last night's dinner was delicious Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes. I had Steak Strips already thawed out and a few potatoes left over so this was perfect! The full recipe could be found HERE. We made our own recipe and everyone loved it here:

Ingredients for steak and potatoes:
Flank steak
potatoes, quartered
olive oil (as much as needed)
3 tablespoons butter
Garlic Powder
Herbs (Rosemary, Oregano, Basil)
Fresh pepper
Red Chili Pepper Flakes

Ingredients for the marinade:
1/3 cup soy sauce
olive oil
fresh cracked pepper

Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the steak strips with soy sauce, olive oil, and pepper. Let sit and marinate for 10-20 minutes while you cook the potatoes. In a large skillet over medium-high, mix 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter. When butter is melted, add the potatoes. Cook for about 4 minutes, stir and cook an additional 4-5 minutes until potatoes are golden. I had to add more butter and olive oil to make sure the the potatoes didn't stick. Transfer to plate and set aside.

Keep the same skillet on and add remaining butter, garlic powder, red chili pepper flakes, and herbs. Lay the steak strips in one layer in a skillet, keeping the marinade. Cook on each side for about 3-5 minutes each depending on how you like your steak. Add in extra marinade and cook for another minute. Add the potatoes back to the pan and heat through.

Remove from heat and serve immediately. I added white rice with butter. Enjoy!
