Slow Cooker Beef Stew

With so many Beef Stew recipes out there, why make this one? This one is unique because it is made with Creamy Potato Soup mix and an onion soup mix packet. It's juicy, not dry, and super easy to make. Read on for the recipe.

The full recipe is from Better Homes & Gardens but I changed it to make it my own. I originally had carrots to put in it but I smelled them and they ended up being bad so I only used beef stew meat, potatoes, creamy potato soup mix, water, and onion soup mix. Easy Peasy.

Ingredients:
1 pound beef stew meat, cubed
2 large potatoes, peeled and quarted
4oz bag of creamy potato soup mix (I found the family size and only used a portion of it)
2 cups of water
1 package of onion soup mix

Directions:
Combine meat and potatoes in the crockpot. In a bowl, stir together the potato soup mix, one cup water, and onion soup mix.

Pour over meat and potatoes.

Add one more cup of water to the slow cooker. Cook on low for 4 1/2 hours. Potatoes and meat should be soft. Serve with rice and bread.
