Chicken and Pasta Bake

How did everyone manage yesterday with Facebook down? So many people were talking about how amazing it was to be off social media and for me, I was all about checking it every five minutes to see if my business post would share :/ I didn't realize that it would be down all day but it's totally OK. I survived the Facebook and Instagram shut down!

Last night Kevin wanted chicken and pasta so we found a few recipes and ended up just making our own. I didn't know what to call this so I just said it was a Chicken and Pasta Bake. It does have spaghetti sauce, chicken, pasta, and a bunch of seasonings so you can choose what you would like to call it.

Ingredients:
One box Rigotoni pasta
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
Mrs. Dash Chicken Grilling Blend, Salt-free
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp Paprika Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 can spaghetti sauce
1 bag mozzarella cheese

Directions:
In a cast iron skillet, add the olive oil and place on medium heat on the stove. Toss the chicken chunks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, Mrs. Dash, Paprika Powder, Italian Seasoning and butter. Brown on each side, about 3-4 minutes. Set the oven to 350 degrees. When done, add the chicken to the oven and cook for 15 minutes. While cooking, make the pasta according to directions. Once chicken is done, put back on the stove on low heat. Add mozzarella cheese and pasta. Add spaghetti sauce and mix. Serve with garlic bread.
