Applebee's Chicken Won Ton Tacos

Happy Tuesday! I went and visited my cousin yesterday and spent the entire day with her so I'm literally so confused on what day it is. It was much needed to spend time with her though - we did a 1 hour 40 minute hike, had lunch together, went to Goodwill, and got pedicures! It was perfect and I wish every day was like that. Today, back to the grind. I worked 8 hours and wanted to finish the evening with a blog.

I actually made this as one of my first recipes when I started Noom on April 1st. This recipe is for Applebees Chicken WonTon Tacos. They were SO good! The original full recipe can be found here: https://thegirlonbloor.com/applebees-chicken-wonton-tacos/#wprm-recipe-container-37888. We used garlic powder instead of garlic and a low sodium soy sauce. We also didn't make the slaw. We used fat free sour cream and shredded lettuce as our toppings.

Ingredients:
2 large, boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground ginger
Wonton wrappers
Toppings

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray Wonton wrappers with cooking spray then drape over the side of a baking dish. Bake for 7-8 minutes (making sure they don't burn). Take the wonton shells out of the oven and gently pull apart so you can fill them with toppings. Bake for another 7-8 minutes until crispy.

Mix raw chicken in a bowl with hoisin sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ground ginger. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and saute the chicken for 7-8 minutes until cooked through. Add chicken mixture to wonton shells, add your toppings and enjoy!
