Easy Honey Garlic Chicken Recipe

One more chicken recipe for the day! This is a Keto Honey Garlic Chicken recipe from Keto Cooking Christian that can be found HERE. Just like all of the recipes, we made this one our own. The original recipe called for chicken thighs and instead, I did chicken breasts cut into pieces. We always swap out garlic with garlic powder and I didn't have liquid aminos so I switched that out for soy sauce.

Ingredients:
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup fat free chicken broth
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp olive oil (I used Heraclea, I won a year supply of olive oil from them!)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
Black pepper

Directions:
Pepper all of the chicken chunks. Heat a large skillet to medium heat and add the butter and olive oil. Once the pan is hot and butter has melted, add the chicken. Cook for 5-7 minutes, flip, and cook for another 5-6 minutes or until they are completely cooked. Remove the chicken from the pan. Add the garlic powder and chicken broth. In a small mixing bowl, add the honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar and whisk until combined. Add the chicken back into the pan and pour the mixture over the chicken. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until sauce has thickened.

Serve with rice and asparagus.
