Easy Soy Chicken Ramen

I found this recipe a few days ago for Soy Chicken and Ramen Noodles and wanted to give it a try. We have plenty of ramen noodles here and anything to make them better, I am all for. Has anyone used Mirin? I am unaware of what that is so I excluded it from the recipe. We also used garlic powder instead of garlic gloves. I just made the ramen noodles, I didn't add the egg, green onions or seaweed.

Ingredients:
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp avocado oil
1 large boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite sizes
2 portions ramen noodles (you won't add in the seasoning packet)
1 tbsp sesame oil

Directions:
Combine all ingredients for the sauce in a mixing bowl - soy sauce, sugar, chicken broth, and garlic powder. Set aside.

Heat a medium size pan over medium high heat, add avocado oil and swirl to coat. Add chicken and sear for about 5-10 minutes until golden brown. Flip over and cook for 5 more minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. Tap out excess oil with paper towel. Pour sauce mixture into the pan and bring it to a simmer. Drop ramen noodles into boiling water and cook for 2 minutes. Drain and add to chicken.

Drizzle sesame oil on top of noodles. Toss noodles until they are coated evenly. Enjoy!
