Spaghetti with Homemade Meatballs

I have told you this over and over but Kevin is SO amazing at coming up with creative ways to make dinner. Last night we made Baked Spaghetti with Homemade Meatballs and even Jace helped. It was pretty easy but took a few steps in order to make this as good as it was. I didn't use a recipe for this one, so the steps will be just me winging it. I only used about 6 ingredients: Spaghetti noodles, spaghetti sauce, Italian seasoning, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese and ground beef. First I cooked the spaghetti noodles, al dente, about 10 minutes on the stove (just follow the directions on the box). I then took the ground beef to make the meatballs. Take about a golf size amount of ground beef, form it in a ball, push in and add in the mozzarella cheese and Italian seasoning and then shape the ground beef around it to form into a ball again. This will make mozzarella cheese stuffed meatballs. Jace helped me make these.

Once those are done, you are going to sear them. Heat a few tablespoons of olive oil on a skillet on the stove. Set the temperature to medium heat and let it sit for a few minutes. Start putting the meatballs on, one by one and they should sizzle. Let them sit on one side for about 2-3 minutes. Flip and let them sit for 2-3 minutes on the other side.

Spray a pan with cooking spray and pour the spaghetti noodles in the pan.

Add the meatballs on top and then pour spaghetti sauce over all of it. Add more mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, uncovered. Serve with garlic bread and broccoli.
