Slow Cooker Pulled BBQ Chicken

Two nights ago I made Slow Cooker Pulled BBQ Chicken for dinner and I was amazed at how delicious this was. The original recipe was from Diabetes Food Hub HERE. Instead of whole chicken, I used three boneless, skinless, chicken breasts. I also used a No Sugar Added BBQ Sauce and didn't use the cabbage or lettuce. I added this chicken on an English muffin and it was delish. 

Ingredients:
1 tbsp Parika
1 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp Wine Smoked Garlic from The Salt Smith
1 tbsp onion powder
1 cup no sugar bbq sauce


Directions:

Combine paprika, chili powder, pepper, wine smoked garlic and onion powder in a bowl. Add chicken pieces and toss to coat chicken. 


Add the chicken to a slow cooker. 



Pour the one cup of BBQ sauce on top of the chicken. 



Cook on high for 3-4 hours. Shred chicken. Eat just like that or add to an English Muffin or wheat bread. Enjoy!
