Cajun Seasoned Steak Bites with Rice and Butter

Has anyone done the home-delivery for groceries? I did that a few days ago and it was amazing. Anyways I purchased some steak during my home-delivery (Food4Less) and found this Cajun Seasoned Steak Bite recipe I wanted to make. I actually made it for lunch this weekend afternoon with White Rice and Butter and it was perfect! The original recipe can be found HERE. I made these steak bites in my cast-iron skillet and OMG. So amazing!

Ingredients for the Cajun Seasoning:
1 tablespoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
basil and oregano (just put a few shakes in, didn't measure)
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Ingredients for the Steak Bites:
23oz Steak cut into 2-inch cubes (sirloin, rump, ny strip, porterhouse, or ribeye)
vegetable oil (as much as needed)
1/4 cup butter
2 teaspoons minced garlic

Directions:
Combine cajun seasoning in a bowl. Add the steak bites to the bowl and coat evenly. Heat oil in a skillet over high heat until hot. Sear the steak bites for about 2-3 minutes each side until crispy and brown. You can add more oil as needed. Take steak out of pan and reduce heat to medium. Add butter until melted. Add minced garlic and stir with whisk for about one minute. Scrape browned bits from pan. Throw the steak bites back in and toss through the garlic butter for about five minutes. Turn skillet off. Serve with white rice and butter.
