Easy Smashburgers

If you are looking for a quick and easy dinner recipe, Smashburgers are it. They are made on the stove and are done within 5-10 minutes. Kevin is the one that has really introduced me to these. I never made homemade Smashburgers until he came along :) All you need is some seasonings - I used paprika, Italian Seasoning, Steak Seasoning, salt, and pepper. You also need Black Angus Beef Patties, a slice of cheddar cheese, and toppings such as lettuce, ketchup, and pickles.

Prepare your patty by adding seasoning to both sides - as much as you would like. Spray a pan with PAM or cooking spray and place on the stove under Medium heat. Place the patty on the pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side. Flip over and cook for 3-4 more minutes.

Use a spatula to smash the burger so it's super flat. Once that is done, add a slice of cheese on top and cook for 2-3 more minutes.

You can use potato bread, or in our case, just regular hamburger buns. Add your toppings and enjoy!
