Homemade Taco Seasoning

Last night we had tacos in our house and I unfortunately did not have a packet of taco seasoning like I typically do. I decided to Google a homemade taco seasoning and it was really good! I used a recipe by AllRecipes and the only change was using half of the salt and adding water to the taco meat to make sure the taco seasoning absorbs as it should. The full recipe is below!

Ingredients:
1 tbsp chili powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp paprika powder
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cracked pepper

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a mason jar. If you are going to use it for tacos and ground beef, cook the ground beef until no longer pink. Add 1/2 cup water and the taco seasoning. Simmer for 4 minutes. Enjoy!
