Homemade Simple Taco Seasoning

A few nights ago I made a simple and easy taco seasoning blend that I wanted to pass along. The original recipe is on the Davita website and can be found HERE

Ingredients:
3 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp garlic powder

Directions:
Combine all seasonings together with a whisk.

If you would like to use it in a ground beef taco mix - cook ground beef on the stove until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain. Add 1/2 cup low sodium tomato sauce and the taco seasoning. Heat until warm. Serve with tortillas, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. For that full recipe, you can click HERE
